SUNRISE DUTCH EDUCATION FUND

Currently, 95 children are attending primary education, fully funded by SDEF. A number of children are pursuing secondary education or further studies with the help of the SDEF scholarship. It is fantastic to see that the children who received education through SDEF have subsequently found good jobs. Thanks to this improved future prospect, they are also better able to provide for their own families.

 

A number of students have since left the program and found jobs as, for example, health assistants, working as seamstresses with their own sewing machines, or have started their own businesses such as a tea shop or electrical store.
